iTunes charting and published recording artist Rupert Stroud and his band have National BBC Radio, ITV and Channel 4 airplay plaudits. Amassing fans along the way, Rupert and his band have opened the show for some of the UK’s biggest world renowned acts including James Blunt, Texas and The Feeling to name a few.

Rupert's powerful beat driven and melodic sound has garnered attention from the music media and radio support from BBC Introducing / BBC 6Music (Tom Robinson) BBC Radio 2 (Dermot O'Leary, Alex Lester, Bob Harris) BBC Radio Scotland, Radio X and Amazing Radio. Rupert's last EP "Talk To You" reached No. 11 in the iTunes singer/songwriter charts where he was positioned in-between Ben Howard and Ed Sheeran.

The plaudits kept coming and they soon saw Rupert performing with his band on the festival circuit sharing the stage with artist such as Texas (opening the show at Millennium Square Leeds to an audience of 5,000) James Blunt (opening the UK leg of his Moon Landing tour at Dalby Forest N. Yorkshire) Little Comets, The Feeling, Reverend and The Makers, US artists Max Jury & Nell Bryden and rising stars Gavin James, Jake Isaac & JP Cooper and Ed Sheeran's new signing Jamie Lawson.

Rupert's career has gone from strength to strength with his latest EP release "Talk To You" reaching No. 11 in the iTunes Singer/songwriter charts on the first week of it's pre-order release. Earlier releases"Never Back Down" and "Morning Light" caught the ears of national radio, receiving radio play and plaudits from the likes of BBC Radio 2's Dermot O'Leary, BBC introducing and 6 Music's Tom Robinson, XFM and BFBS Radio. Rupert also received his first US radio airplays on KX 93.5FM Laguna Beach California. His music video for "Never Back Down" won "People's Choice Award 2013" at The 27th Leeds International Film Festival.

As a "Champion Media Spokesperson" Alzheimer's Research UK, for Alzheimer's Research UK, Rupert has raised over £8,000 to date through various campaigns and events including sales from his charity single "Always". Rupert was interviewed in conjunction with the G8 Summit on Dementia by The Guardian and did a live TV interview on Al Jazeera International News programme "Inside Story" which was broadcast to over 200 million English speaking homes.

His singles "The Truth" and "The One" were been played on BBC Radio 2, BBC Scotland, Amazing Radio and playlisted on BFBS Radio as well as playlisted on over 60 regional stations. The BBC Scotland play led to him being invited to perform a live session on BBC Scotland on the Janice Forsyth Show.

Rupert's latest release is the 6 track "Heart and Soul" EP which received critical acclaim from BBC Introducing, Record of The Day Blog and PASTE magazine in the US.

Rupert is currently writing and recording his next album due for release in 2018.
